James Faurote

Producing Artistic Director

Born and raised in Tampa, FL, Mr. James studied English at the University of South Florida. Since then he has directed and acted at the professional and community level for the past 20 years.

Having previously worked in consulting and other corporate jobs before he jumped at the chance to become the Director of Center Stage in October 2018.

Anna Shea

Assistant Artistic Director

Ms. Anna is a graduate of the University of Tampa. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts. Before graduating Anna participated in a musical at UT almost every semester and performed with different ensembles throughout each year as well. After graduation Anna performed at Busch Gardens in two different shows during Christmas Town. You can now see Anna in performances at local community theatres throughout the Tampa Bay area.
While performing has been the focus for her in school, teaching has always been something she wanted to do. She fell in love with performing at a children’s theatre in her small hometown of Vero Beach, FL and has always wanted to bring that experience she had as a kid to others. 

Lexxie Lawlor

K-3 Director

Ms.Lexxie was born & raised in Newburgh,NY!  She was lucky enough to be surrounded by the arts throughout her entire education!  Her only dream was to be a performer and that dream came true! 

After receiving her theatre degree from Dean College, she moved to Florida and began her performing career!  You may have seen her dancing on the castle stage at Walt Disney World or roller skating through the streets of Universal Orlando!  She filled her free time cheering on the Tampa Bay Storm, as captain of the cheerleading team! 

Ms.Lexxie is thrilled to be sharing her passion of performing and all she learned along the way, with the confident, creative leaders of tomorrow!

Ryan Bintz

6-12 Grade Director & Instructor

Mr. Bintz is a Theatre Teacher at Longleaf Elementary where he directs ten shows a year.  Outside of Longleaf he directs Middle/High School musicals this, including; Music Man, Elf, Godspell, and Legally Blonde. Entering his 20th year of teaching he has taught; Band, Marching Band, Chorus, Theatre, Piano, Voice, and General Music at all levels.  He also has been an actor in the Tampa Bay area since 2004 and has performed as a singer at Busch Gardens, Carnival Cruise Lines, Patel Conservatory, and many different theatres in the area.

Resident Choreographer  â€‹

Ms. Amber is a graduate from The University of Tampa. Her degrees focus on Human Performance and Applied Dance, in an approach to develop an injury prevention methodology for dancers. She has worked with Busch Garden’s Howl O Scream event as a scare character, and currently works as a dance choreographer in the Tampa Bay area. She has studied with dance professionals such as Bill Evans, Mia Michaels, and Mike Minery. As a Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity member, Amber includes their six POINTE system into her daily practices (Personal Health Awareness, Outreach & Service through Dance and Humanities, International Studies and Programs, Networking & Career Exploration, Technique & Professional Training, and Education of the Arts). She strives to continue learning and sharing for generations to come.
