Search the internet for “benefits of children being in the arts” and you will find countless articles supporting the fact that students involved in the arts are more confident, perform better in school, are more disciplined, etc…
Unfortunately you will also find the articles that talk about the massive budget cuts that are taking the arts away from the children who need it most.
Here at ShiningStars Center Stage we are doing our best to make sure that any child who wants access to the performing arts has it.
Ticket sales only covers a third of what we need to produce a show. The rest of that we have to make up by charging students a tuition.
Your Donations not only allow us to lower the cost of tuition for our students, but add production value to our shows. This means better sets, props, costumes, and so much more.
