In this engaging musical theatre class, young performers embark on an exciting journey of creative expression and stage exploration. Through a dynamic blend of singing, dancing, and acting exercises, children develop fundamental skills in performance and gain confidence in expressing themselves on stage. The class focuses on fostering teamwork, self-expression, and the joy of storytelling through music. As the sessions progress, participants collaborate on a special project that will be presented at the final class. This experience not only nurtures a love for the performing arts but also provides a platform for these budding talents to showcase their newfound skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. Get ready for a magical and unforgettable showcase of young talent as these kids bring the stage to life with their passion and creativity!

Classes will be taught by Pasco County's 2022/2023 Teacher Of The Year, Ryan Bintz. Mr. Bintz is a Theatre Teacher at River Ridge Middle School where he directs ten shows a year.  Outside of Longleaf he directs Middle/High School musicals this, including; Music Man, Elf, Godspell, and Legally Blonde. Entering his 22nd year of teaching he has taught; Band, Marching Band, Chorus, Theatre, Piano, Voice, and General Music at all levels.  He also has been an actor in the Tampa Bay area since 2004 and has performed as a singer at Busch Gardens, Carnival Cruise Lines, Patel Conservatory, and many different theatres in the area.
